News on Andrew

Friday December 12
Down in Mexico they think that Andrew may have broken his ankle. They are supposed to let us know for sure today whether or not it really is broken. Then the general authorities have to decide whether he gets to stay in Mexico or if he has to come home. He doesn't want to come home and mom thinks it would be better for him to stay in Mexico also. How did he break it?He was standing on a porch with his companion when a dog jumped at them from behind the door and scared his companion who freaked out and accidentally knocked Andrew off of the porch. :(

Saturday December 15
So the mission president called and Andrew's ankle is broken but the doctors recommended his staying in Mexico. They are transfering him from Mazitlan to Culiacan so he can work in the office with the mission president's wife. He has to stay off of his feet completely for one week and will have crutches for a couple of months. Until we hear otherwise he is staying in Mexico. :) (I know he didn't want to be in Mazitlan but there has to be other ways to get out of there right? ;)
We Find out Monday or Tuesday if he comes home or not
